Description of the course:
This module covers the ‘core’ service management activities and expands the current scope of ITIL to cover the ‘creation’ of services. This module focuses on the integration of different value streams and activities to create, deliver and support IT-enabled products and services whilst also covering supporting practices, methods and tools. This module will also cover service performance and will give practitioners an understanding of service quality and improvement methods.
It will enable IT practitioners to continue to deliver innovative yet reliable tech-enabled services to their customers in an increasingly competitive market.

- Understand how to plan and build a service value stream to create, deliver and support services
- Know how relevant ITIL practices contribute to creation, delivery and support across the SVS and value streams
- Know how to create, deliver and support services
Course Format & exam pass marks
- Number of questions: 40
- Type of questions: multiple choice
- Marks: 40 marks available.
- Provisional pass mark: 70% or higher (28 marks or above)
- Duration: 90 minutes (113 for non-native speakers)
- This is a ‘closed book’ examination
- Prerequisites: The candidate must have passed the ITIL 4 Foundation examination. In addition, the candidate must have attended an accredited training course for this module.

- Individuals continuing their journey in service management
- ITSM managers and aspiring ITSM managers
- ITSM practitioners managing the operation of IT-enabled & digital products and services, and those responsible for the end-to-end delivery
- existing ITIL qualification holders wishing to develop their knowledge.
Course length:
3 days training, exam taken on the last day (preparation and sitting the exam). The course can be also delivered in virtual mode, respecting the standard course length.
Requirements for homework:
During the Course, there will be Exercises and homework assigned to be completed prior to the exam.
