RESILIA™ is a framework of best practice, designed to help organisations and governments build, assess, deploy and manage good cyber resilience against security threats, such as cyber risks/attacks and cyber criminals.
RESILIA™ Foundation
Description of the course:
RESILIA Foundation demonstrates an understanding of Cyber Resilience Best Practices and of how decisions impact good/bad cyber resilience. This module teaches individuals how to make good cyber resilience an efficient part of business and operational management and shows how nurturing cyber resilience can support operational effectiveness and organisational resilience.
RESILIA Foundation introduces the key terms and benefits associated with cyber resilience, enabling individuals to demonstrate they understand and recognise best practice and know how to manage and address cyber risks.
The RESILIA Foundation Certificate is also a pre-requisite for individuals wishing to achieve RESILIA Practitioner.
Intended audience:
RESILIA Foundation is aimed at professionals responsible for IT and security functions or risk and compliance operations within an organisation. It is also beneficial to professionals in HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Marketing who need to have resilience expertise within their teams.
Course Format & exam pass marks
- Multiple choice examination questions
- 50 questions per paper
- 30 marks required to pass (approx. 60%)
- 100 minutes’ duration
- Closed book
Course length:
3 days training, exam taken on the last day (preparation and sitting the exam). The course can be also delivered in virtual mode, respecting the standard course length.
Requirements for homework:
During the Course, there will be Exercises and homework assigned to be completed prior to the exam.
RESILIA™ Practitioner
Description of the course:
RESILIA Practitioner helps professionals to understand what effective cyber resilience looks like and what are the risks and issues that can easily affect cyber resilience. Successful candidates gain practical skills to achieve the best balance of risk, cost, flexibility and operational management benefits within an organisation.
RESILIA Practitioner certification builds on the on the understanding and demonstration of cyber resilience provided by the RESILIA Foundation to equip professionals with the skills needed to apply effective and beneficial cyber resilience.
Intended audience:
RESILIA Practitioner is aimed at professionals responsible for IT and security functions or risk and compliance operations within an organisation. It is also beneficial to professionals in HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Marketing who need to have resilience expertise within their teams. The RESILIA Practitioner certification teaches you the practical skills needed to apply effective and beneficial cyber resilience, building on the understanding and demonstration of cyber resilience provided by the RESILIA Foundation certification.
Prerequisites:
To take the RESILIA Practitioner examination, you must hold a current RESILIA Foundation certificate.

- 50 questions per paper
- 30 questions required to pass (60%)
- 135 minutes’ duration
- Closed book.
