INTRODUCTION

Description of the course:

AgilePM for Scrum is intended to give benefit to businesses looking to increase the agility of their projects in the face of ever-increasing Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity (VUCA) in their operating/market environment.

Scrum is a process framework for developing and sustaining complex products. Since 1986, Scrum has been used in the development of thousands of software products and is, by far, the most widely used Agile approach in the world.

AgilePM has its origins in the 1990s as a framework for business-centred development. Having been designed for agility in all aspects of project management, it can be adapted to suit the formality and rigour of projects and organisations of all shapes and sizes from small, informal single-team projects in smaller organisations to larger multi-team projects in big corporates operating in regulated environments.

AgilePM for Scrum combines the world’s leading agile product delivery approach (Scrum) with the world’s leading agile project management approach (AgilePM) to offer a single framework for the delivery of complete business solutions.

  • Develop a truly agile project context for product development focused on realizing value, rather than just delivering latent value in products;

  • Increase the agility and effectiveness of projects in the face of VUCA conditions;

Course Format, Qualifications available, exam pass marks :

FOUNDATION

  • 40 minutes
  • 50 Multiple choice questions (four possible answers for each question, one correct answer per question)
  • At least 60% correct answers (30 out of 50) are required to pass the examination
  • No pre-requisites

Intended audience:

A range of individuals involved in agile project management and solution development, including existing AgilePM and Scrum practitioners, project managers, product developers, business managers, solution architects, project management officers and programme managers.

Requirements for homework

During the Course, there will be Exercises and homework assigned to be completed prior to the exam.

The official handbook is compulsory, and could be delivered during the course.
